CLIFTON MCFARLAND leaves Downey Brand, joins Mitchell Chadwick LLP

Roseville, California | Mitchell Chadwick is pleased to announce that Clifton McFarland has left Downey Brand LLP and joined Mitchell Chadwick LLP in Roseville. Prior to joining Mitchell Chadwick, Clif practiced environmental law at Downey Brand LLP in Sacramento, California, and Gibson Dunn & Crutcher in Los Angeles, California. Clif represents aerospace, energy, real estate, natural resources, and investor groups on environmental law and policy matters including the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA).

A MIT-trained engineer, Clif McFarland resolves difficult legal problems that are intertwined with complex scientific issues. Clif handles remediation, administrative, enforcement and litigation matters. He is experienced in regulatory standard-setting proceedings and has dealt with issues from toxicology to exposure assessment.
