Austin D. Turner

Before attending law school, Austin served in the U.S. Navy, completing an eight-month deployment on the U.S.S. Nimitz Aircraft carrier, and traveling around the world. Austin graduated from UC Davis School of law, King Hall, in 2021 with a concentration in environmental law. While in law school, he was the President of the Water Association of Law and Policy, hosted the Water Law Symposium at King Hall, and was the Co-President of the Veterans Association. While in law school, Austin pursued his passion further for environmental law taking courses such as administrative law, land use, water law, climate change, natural resources, food and farming law, and energy law. Austin worked at the California State Water Resources Control Board, where he became familiar with the administrative process and public entity laws, and was a teacher’s assistant for an Undergraduate Water Law course at UC Davis.

Driven by his passion and experience in environmental law, including but not limited to mining, mitigation and conservation banking, land use, oil and gas, farming, and water law, Austin will work to ensure that Mitchell Chadwick’s clients get the best possible results.
