Seth J. Tinkle
Associate

Seth graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2025 with certificates in Environmental Law and Public Service. During law school, he served as an executive editor on Environs Journal of Environmental Law and as Co-Chair for the Retention Recruitment and Outreach Committee, participated in the Aoki Water Justice Clinic, and received Reynoso Academic Achievement awards in Legal Research and Writing and Water Law. Additionally, he worked as a Summer Legal Intern with the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office’s Restorative Justice Partnership and received a John Paul Stevens Fellowship for his work there, and he also interned with the California Department of Justice in the Land Use and Conservation Section.

He received his Bachelor of Arts with departmental honors in Sociology from Vassar College in 2013. Prior to law school, Seth worked in education for a number of years, serving as a Personnel Investigator for the New York City Department of Education and as an early childhood educator in both Brooklyn, NY and Santa Barbara.

Seth began his legal career as a Law Clerk at White Brenner LLP in Sacramento, where he conducted legal research and writing, supporting ongoing litigation and providing legal counsel on issues of municipal, water, environmental, and land use law.
