Anne E. Badasci

Anne has a background in, and demonstrated passion for, natural resource and land use law. She provides clients with assistance on a variety of environmental and regulatory matters. Utilizing her past legal experience with diverse agencies and private firms, Anne works on land use permitting, administrative approvals, litigation, and regulatory compliance. She has worked with clients on complex issues involving the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), eminent domain and land use restrictions, and significant changes in water laws and regulatory frameworks. Anne graduated from King Hall in 2017 as a Dean’s Merit Scholar, and simultaneously received her Environmental Law Certificate.


Represented and advised business and industry clients on environmental litigation and regulatory compliance matters;

Researched and practiced in environmental compliance, environmental due diligence, and regulatory and administrative enforcement defense and litigation;

Prepared letters on behalf of clients regarding CEQA compliance and administrative guidance;

Researched and wrote legal memoranda on issues of public and private land use, including opposing eminent domain actions;

Reviewed state and federal laws and regulations in the context of compliance with the Clean Air Act and Toxic Substances Control Act;

Researched standing and substantive issues in contesting a Clean Water Act citizen suit on behalf of an industrial landowner; and

Delivered research and analysis on the topic of CEQA and LEED compliance for industry clients.
