Mitchell Chadwick Helps Expand California’s Largest Mitigation Bank

CTS
Mitchell Chadwick, working with Wetland Resources, LLC, owner of the Elsie Gridley Mitigation Bank and WRA, Inc. are pleased to announce the expansion of the mitigation bank and release of additional California tiger salamander (CTS) upland and aquatic habitat credits.  These credits meet both the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife mitigation requirements for impacts to CTS.  As a result, CTS credits at the Elsie Gridley Mitigation Bank can fulfill CTS habitat compensation requirements under Sections 7 and 10 of the Federal Endangered Species Act and Section 2081 of the California Endangered Species Act.

The CTS upland credits also provide mitigation for Burrowing owl and Swainson’s hawk while the CTS aquatic credits provide mitigation for vernal pool fairy shrimp, vernal pool conservancy shrimp, and vernal pool tadpole shrimp.
